La Pavoni produce a range of top quality commercial and domestic espresso machines. The company was founded in 1905 by Desiderio Pavoni at a little workshop in Milan, Italy; producing commercial espresso coffee machines, one of the first companies to do so.

In 1961 Pavoni developed the Europiccola, the first electric espresso machine for domestic use. This machine could brew espresso coffee just like the way they were made in a cafe, allowing home users to enjoy espresso, cappuccino, etc. In 1974 the professional model of the Europiccola was introduced with a larger boiler and analogue pressure gauge (manometer).

Over 50 years in production, La Pavoni continue to manufacture a range of traditional lever operated espresso machines, including the Europiccola, a testament the stylish form, quality fuction, and reliabilty of this iconic machine.
